I'm proud of the business success.

You know, certainly I've had two billion dollar plus companies,

three IPOs, certainly from any scorecard have done great.

But the thing I'm proudest of is the fact

that I was able to do those things

while staying married to the same woman for 35 years.

And having my kids grow up knowing me

and best like until liking me

and getting out in backcountry skiing

and mountain biking and kayaking and surfing,

that is the thing that I'm proud of.

Have you ever come across an idea

for a business or an invention and thought,

oh my God, this is amazing.

And then you told people about it and they said,

that's pretty stupid, that will never work.

Well, my guest today had that very experience

and guess what, his idea turned into a hundred billion dollar

company and he's here today to share all of his hard one lessons.
