A dramatic game about the fall of the Paris commune.

Folks, the premise sounds super heavy, but I promise we do a fairly light rendition of this

that's really character-driven and fascinating.

This design comes to us from Catherine Ram. It's clearly a work of passion and her

expertise and enthusiasm shows throughout the design. The game itself is fairly simple, providing

players with context and prompts, along with a relationship map to help get their ideas flowing. If you're an actor looking for a really emotional character study, or you're just trying to connect with history in an immersive way

Heroes, I've got some exciting news.

I wrote a second book earlier this year,

and it's going to be coming out on October 8th.

This book was probably the most challenging project I've ever taken on, because it's a book that folks have been asking me to write for a while.

It's an explanation of the way I think about role-playing games and advice on how to play the way I do. I've applied concepts from improv,

theater, literature, and film to my artistic process as both a GM and a player.
