From 1978 to 1988 a series of brutal murders haunted a quiet community on the border of New Hampshire and Vermont known as the Connecticut River Valley. Jane Boroski, 7 months pregnant at the time, was the last known attack victim. Despite the killer's attempt to end her life by stabbing her 27 times, both her and her unborn child survived. 0:56.7	this conversation that we have with the team from the Invisible Tears Podcast. It's Jane
1:01.7	Barosky and Amanda and Drew Bedard. Boy, Jane's got a wild story, doesn't she?
1:08.0	Yeah, she was the last attack victim of the River Valley killings that happened in the 1970s and
1:15.2	1980s. So the killings started in 1978. And by all accounts, Jane was the last victim of these
1:21.6	attacks in 1988. She did survive 27 stab wounds. She was seven months pregnant and she is ready
1:28.4	to tell her story. And a major part of her story is how she has gone from this horrific attack to
1:34.3	healing and making that into something that she can use to communicate to others, hey, you might
1:40.8	suffer from PTSD. You might have had something like this happen in your life, but it is possible
1:45.6	to come out on the lighter side of things, which she has. Remarkable story, remarkable team,
