This week, we begin Book 5, Wolves of the Kala, and discuss the prologue and the first three chapters of part one, Toadash.

So at the beginning of this book, we meet the residents of Calabrin Sturgis, a group of farmers terrorized every generation by the mysterious and dangerous wolves.

Then we return to our Cotette as they reach end world and, well, some crazy shit starts happening.

Eddie and Jake go tow dash into 1977 New York City and Susanna's got a new person inside her

in more ways than one.

Matt, what did you think about this week's reading?

Well, like you said, there's a lot of crazy shit.

It's going to take a while to get through all this crazy shit.

I told you there would be a Helmsdeep.

There's even Orks.

Didn't you say that we already did Helms Deep?

I thought that's what you said.

Maybe I don't think so. I think what I said was I'm trying to decide if what we just did was Helms Deep or if we're going into Helms Deep. Oh yes. And then I I sat here with my eyes bulging, but you couldn't see them not saying anything at all.
