and mentally strong. This week my guest is a super talented Michelin

star chef and TV presenter Tom Kerridge. He has had an incredible journey from a kid

on a council estate to a chef running multiple restaurants and a butcher shop. He's also

gone on a journey of his health as well from staying up all hours and becoming clinically

obese to losing 12 stone and writing books to help others get through it too. We had

such a lovely chat, I found it so inspiring and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it too.

Right here we go. Tom thank you so much for agreeing to be a guest on my podcast. We've

spoken a little bit on Zoom, we've sort of had a few interactions but I've never got

chance to sit down and actually have a proper chat with you so I'm excited man but

loads to ask you I think you're an amazing entrepreneur, you've got such a great

story in some of your career and what you've achieved and also as a parent and as a

someone who's gone on a real physical and mental health transformation I imagine from

what you've done over the years so I think you've got a great story to share and yeah I'm

looking forward to it. Firstly where are you sitting? Looks like you're in a wine bar.

I mean one of my restaurants, I mean the private dining room at the London restaurant

at Kerridge's Barron Grill, it's quite funny because we're recording this on the day

that it looks like it might be the end of days for Boris Johnson which is just around

the corner from here so it's quite an exciting place to be right now right in the middle
