Our film review this week. Are you ready? Yeah. Astral was released in 2018. It has 5.8 out of 10

on IMDB and it has no consensus on rotten tomatoes. So just me nobody's voted. It just means

that nobody's voted. There's lots of critic reviews of it on rotten tomatoes but there isn't a score.

Okay, interesting. Okay, so would you like a synopsis? Yeah, go for it.

A detached university student faces the consequences of astral projection when he uses it to reconnect

with his dead mother. That's it. I like that. I know you're waiting for me to finish but that's it.

That's pretty much the story though, isn't it really? Yeah, what we were told from this film.

Could have been better. Oh, you think? Yeah.

It spent a good 40 minutes doing establishing the fact that he was going to try astral projection.

That's a really good point actually. Hey, nothing. Do you know what? This film is like an open house for me.

I really see now it would be however I found it and 50 people movie club listeners will understand

this. I found it more interesting on a bad movie scale than I did the open house. So that was a

redeemer for me, I think. I just thought it was really boring. So you can't you can't base a film

on a science lecture in which an apparent scientist says that there's scientific proof

for talking to the dead that clairvoyance use astral projection to talk to the dead and he says
