Every since I was a young girl I've always had a spirit around me.

I would see a black figure in my room at night and even sometimes in the daytime.

I even heard thoughts that were not mine at all, especially as a teen when I started

struggling with anxiety and depression.

They would say very negative things and even try to convince me to harm myself and I just

kind of got used to it and as I got older I sort of grew close to the darkness.

It was almost comforting to be trapped in it.

I never thought to attach the voice to a figure until more recently in my life.

The first time I noticed was when I was young.

I had dreams and would frequently see him.

I grew up thinking they were nightmares or thinking nothing of it.

I never knew if he was good or bad but there were subtle things around the house that would
