| 1:39.9 | And the last story comes from August 23rd, 2020, and story number one comes from Holly. |
| 1:47.9 | When I was 13, my parents had been divorced for about two years, and I was living with my mom and my brother in a flat above an estate agent. |
| 1:56.9 | Just to set the scene, I hated that flat. It was recently renovated, and I've never been able to find any strange history on the building, but I always felt like I was being watched by sinister presence. |
| 2:09.9 | To enter the flat, I had to go around the back of the shop, open the front door, which beeped for security, up a steep flight of stairs, and then could turn left towards my mom or my brother's room, or turn right and go down a hallway to my room or the living room or the rest of the flat. |
| 2:27.9 | One night, I convinced my mom to go on her Christmas work party, as she never went out and deserved a nice night. |
| 2:34.9 | Being the older sister and a strappy teenager, I insisted I could babysit my younger brother, who was around eight at the time. |
| 2:41.9 | My mom left at around eight. I'd put my brother to bed at nine, and was watching TV in my room. When at around 11, I decided to go to sleep. |
| 2:51.9 | I was waiting to fall asleep when I heard voices. My room had a step down into it, so if you crouch down, you could see under my door and down the hall to the top of the stairs. |
| 3:02.9 | I didn't want to start my mom if she brought a friend's home, but I wanted to see who it was because I'm nosy. |
| 3:08.9 | So I crouched down and looked through the crack at the bottom of the door. It was dark, but the street light outside the whole window was enough to give a clear view. |
| 3:18.9 | I heard women talking and walking up the stairs. I could physically hear the footsteps on the stairs, but couldn't quite make out what the women were saying. |
| 3:28.9 | I remember getting nervous, an apprehensive knowing something wasn't right, because they hadn't turned the light on, and the front door hadn't beaped. |
| 3:36.9 | The footsteps and talking got louder until they reached the top of the stairs and rounded the corner heading towards the living room, and then everything went quiet. |
| 3:46.9 | My heart was beating so fast I could hear it in my head, because all the time I tracked the women talking and walking, I saw nothing. |
| 3:55.9 | Not a damn thing. And that's what I really panicked. |
