Hello and welcome to 31 Days of Terror 2023 Day number 13.

And I have two spooky stories for you today and story number one comes from

Katherine. I was about two or three when this happened and only remembered vaguely.

My sister remembers it better than I do and I recall most of this story from her.

I remember that in my old neighbourhood there was an old man that would take walks

around the neighbourhood frequently. There was a bus that would come to pick him up

daily and take him to a place where people with mental health difficulties could

go for the day and have a good time and get any and all the help that they needed.

I live in West Michigan and this place was called the Hope Network.

My sister recalls this man dying one day and the bus not coming to pick him up anymore.

She also tells me that a few days after he died she saw him doing his daily walk again.

Again I remember this story vaguely but when my sister tells that she can tell it like it was only yesterday.

Now I'm a skeptic of most of the paranormal but my sister is a wholehearted believer.

She used to use crystals and all that witchy stuff that I never believed in.

I have a few crystals but I like them because they're pretty not for the quote unquote energy they give off.

In my house there is an open stairwell that leads to a long hallway where all of our rooms are.

At the end of this hallway there is my room and adjacent to my room is my sister's room.

Before both of our doors there is a part of the hallway that creaks when you step on it.

I hear this part of the floor creak almost every night but no one is there.

Of course I just blamed it all on the house or whatever but I could never get the feeling out of my head that there could be something there.

Now to get back onto the topic of the crystal that my sister used.

She would charge her crystals frequently until one day she stopped.
