Welcome back to the peripheral.

I just got back from CrimeCon.

That was quite an experience.

It was a tornado of awesome.

Aaron and I got to do a presentation for a live audience.

We have never done that before. It was nerve-wracking and exhilarating at the same

time. I remember sitting down on the stage, turning to Aaron and just saying, how you doing

tonight, Aaron? And the crowd went wild at one point Aaron and I were taking a selfie

with true crime garage Nancy grace was walking by and the captain said let's get Nancy in the photo

and she turned around and said all right and she and she jumped into the photo. We're all

towering over her because she's five foot and nothing wearing her caprice and her cowboy boots.

And after the photo, I said, hey, thanks. And she jabbed me in the ribs with her finger.

It said, gotcha.

And ran off.

She was unexpectedly genuine and friendly in person.

It was quite an experience meeting her.

It made me realize that no matter what, people are people at their core,

and we can have our preconceived notions about them.

I know that a lot of my fans traveled from the far corners of the earth to come to CrimeCon.

A lot of them said to literally meet Aaron and I,

which is just flattering and incredible all at the same time.
