And now, let's start the show with our first listener's story of the night, which comes

to us, from Eric. And Eric says,

Hi, I found your podcast a couple of weeks ago and I had been listening to it every night.

I work as a practical nurse only at night time, home care and duty officer here in Finland.

Thank you for this podcast, I hope you keep going with it. I also want to thank all the

people that have been sharing their experiences. I have had so many strange things happen

to me over the years, and maybe I will share other things in the future. But now I will

tell you something about the period of time that my mother died in 2006, and some time

after that. My mother had cancer, and I tried to take care of her at home for as long

as possible. I knew that it was important to her that she could stay at her own home

which she loved. She was so sick at the end that she had to be moved to hospice, where

she died after five days. I stayed living in the old house where I grew up. It was built

in 1927, and the energy in the house scared me when I was a child. I was concerned about

staying there. I had been living on my own for years before my mom got sick, so I did not

know how active the spirit world was going to be. After my mother had passed, there were

footsteps, strange noises, someone walking upstairs, and someone was moving furniture. One

day I heard a woman humming. It lasted a couple of minutes and I was trying to find some

explanation for it, but every radio and even the digibox were turned off. I just felt

the energy and could almost feel the house living the life of its own. It was difficult

to sleep because of all the noises and the presence of someone which I did not recognize

to be any of my dead family members. Sometimes I woke up because I was sure someone walked

into my bedroom. This kept going on for two weeks, and I was getting tired and a little scared.
