What's going on everybody? Welcome back for another episode of Triggered. This is Triggered episode number 307, I think. It is Tuesday, August 10th.

And we're changing it up today. We're winging it. We're flying off the cuff here because I am just so livid about what transpired in the Congress this morning with the $1.2 trillion infrastructure package being passed.

Yeah, I was so furious this morning, folks.

Yeah, drink.

That I almost canceled the entire show for today.

That's how high my blood pressure was.

And we also got some news this morning

that Andrew Cuomo was resigning as governor of New York.

Yay.

Which, for the wrong scandal.

For the wrong scandal.

Right?

Which has its own irony.

But also what disappoints me about that is I was hoping we were going to get a nice long drawn-out impeachment in trial. Because they're going to remember the whole process is going to take a month. Did you see the house? Well, you know what this does. The Senate of the speakers is we're going to investigate this for a month. You know what this does is this shoves it all under the carpet now he's gone right now he's gone it's not going to be a big

story it's a dog and pony committee yeah yeah the other issue i have uh with it and and republicans are

cheering and i get that you know we hate andrew quomo correct but it's not a story anymore now. Yeah. We don't have a punching bag. Now, what do we move on to now, right? Chris? Newsom? Do we hope that he, you know, we can take him out in a recall, right? And you get a success there. I don't think so because you're able to print out the ballots at home. Yeah. The resignation feels not as much like a victory as I would have hoped for.

And maybe that's just because I'm pissed off today about the infrastructure

and a whole bunch of other terrible things that the Republicans are trying to do

to stab us in the back because they love doing that constantly.
