How's it going everybody? Appreciate you tuning into this episode of the Hunting Public

podcast. On this one we're going to be talking about the evolution of our own scent control.

Jake Hayden and Jake's wife Crystal and I all talked about some of the things that we used to do as part of our ritual before we went hunting and then how that compares to what we do before we go hunting nowadays.

While we don't practice the same scent control

regiment that we once did, I would say in a way

we're trying to control our scent in different ways

that we feel are more important.

And it's just interesting to look back on some of the things that we used to do,

some of the things that we still do, and then just really comparing some different extremes,

because at one point, for example, I was washing my clothes every single weekend after I'd go hunting,

every chance I got I was trying to get all of the scent eliminated out of my clothing.

Nowadays I don't feel like I have the same amount of time to do that.

Where I fit that in back then, I don't know, but anyway, that was part of what I did every

time I went out.

And now I just try to pay attention to things in a little bit of a different way, but ultimately we're still controlling our scent every time we go out.

So we just wanted to talk about that topic and hopefully help build your confidence based off of your own scent control plan.

I'm going to start trying to post more audio podcasts and less video podcasts.

I feel like in the past year since starting the video podcast

it's been hard to accomplish the same amount of podcasts within a year as I had previously when I had just

been doing the audio versions.

So I'm going to try to do things like get more guests, try to get the number of podcasts
