So we had the Labour conference this week. It should have been a victory lap.

This was the first Labour conference

with a Labour government in 14 years with the Labour Prime Minister

addressing the room. But there was just this inescapable feeling that everything has gone wrong

very quickly. Tom, what did you make of it this week?

It was a fascinatingly damp mood and of course the main story here is Freebies Gates

and that continuing to dog the party. It's been one scandal another. I mean everyone has heard about the glasses and the suits and the thousands of pounds that has been spent by Lord Ali, this labour lord on Kieast Armas a tie, his wife's attire, Angela
