Tamara Samsonova is a Russian serial killer, sometimes called the “Granny Ripper” or “Baba Yaga,” suspected of murdering and dismembering multiple people over at least a decade in St. Petersburg. She was arrested in 2015 at age 68 after the torso of her 79‑year‑old friend and roommate, Valentina Ulanova, was found in a pond near their building, wrapped in a shower curtain traced back to Samsonova’s apartment.
