I mean, it took a year for me to like even have a regular walk.

It took me so long for like my, my limp didn't go, my limp and I ran didn't go away until like the beginning of the summer this year.

Yeah, and I had hopped back into soccer so fast. I only played like soccer, like, two times with the team before we started like preseason and like just went like all out.

So it was like a big like jump. Like I hadn't played soccer in so long and I had to like

re-teach myself how to like kick a ball and everything because I basically like

reconstructed like from like my toe all the way to my knee.

So and so it feels like a lot different to play now. Welcome into the Hogpot.

That's how long Taylor Tomak had to wait

to step back out onto the Arkansas soccer field. It felt like forever. I've been waiting for this moment for so long.

Taylor, Tomac, the senior from San Antonio with a lightning goal to the

journey back wasn't just long. It was grueling. A routine tackle turned into a nightmare.

Stuck my left foot out and my right leg was just in the perfect position.

I didn't think I might like, and then my teammates started like gagging and walking away.

And it wasn't until Dawn like yelled like 911, like this is bad.

Both bones in her leg snapped.

Surgery followed, but things only got worse. So they didn't tell me until

like two days later. Like hey, like surgery went bad. And now there's like a bunch of complications.

It's called compartment syndrome. They have to make cuts from like your ankle all or to your knee on both sides.

Infections, more surgeries, and countless setbacks.
