We are back for another

very special crossover episode in our week of celebrating the life of Maryland Monroe. I am Alicia,

your hostess on this podcast journey where it really does all connect. Thanks y'all so much for

joining me. We have so many spider webs that are entwined into Maryland's life.

We are just going to take this bit by bit and not miss a thing.

We left Maryland in the last episode at the end of 1953 just upon the cusp of becoming a true superstar.

We enter here into 1954 with Maryland's shiny new year. We're going to

bring a few other characters into the mix, including Peter Lafford and Dominic Dunn in this episode.

Here in 1954 in our first segment is also the year with three weddings and one separation.
