Summary

When a couple experiences the fallout of sexual brokenness and betrayal trauma, we desire healing and restoration of their marriage. Yet, we know in some cases, separation is necessary. And sometimes, divorce happens. We’re joined by Andrea Rogers, a Certified Life Coach who is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. Andrea is also a Certified Partner Coach with APSATS (Association of Partners of Sex Addicts Trauma Specialists), trained in using the Multidimensional Partner Trauma Model, which was instrumental in her healing from betrayal trauma. On today’s episode, we talk about divorce—when to consider it, what boundaries are needed, how to help kids through the effects of divorce, and more.

0:46.7	you know, I don't think people ask for divorce. And it's definitely a sensitive topic
0:51.1	within the church culture. Yeah. And people can have varying viewpoints and beliefs on what constitutes a biblically, you know,
1:00.3	allowed divorced.
1:02.1	But regardless of how you see it, regardless of what you believe, the fact is a lot of our
1:08.6	men and women are going through divorce.
1:10.4	And even if they're going through
1:12.5	divorce, we still want to walk alongside people, whether they're reconciling their marriage or going
1:18.1	through a divorce, that our goal is to help people be whole and healed and see that Jesus still
1:24.1	loves them and that they can live a healthy life regardless of what another
1:28.9	person's choice is. You know, sometimes I get women that come to me and divorce wasn't their
1:33.8	choice. They say my husband left me and I want to be in group and I want them to go to group
1:38.2	and then we just help them navigate their betrayal through that group process even though
