Exodus chapter 4, verses 10 through 12.

But Moses said to the Lord,

Oh, my Lord, I am not eloquent, either in the past or since you have spoken to your servant,

but I am slow of speech and of tongue.

Then the Lord said to him,

Who has made man's mouth?

Who makes him mute or deaf or seeing or blind?

Is it not I, the Lord?

Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth

and teach you what you shall speak.

These verses are a great follow-up to what we saw in Exodus chapter 3 previously.

So Moses saying, who am I?

God's saying, I'm going to be with you.

And then now it gets more specific.

Moses says, you're calling me to speak before Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. I am slow

of speech and tongue. Like I can't do this. And God says, who made your mouth, man? Who determines

who's able to speak in the first place. Is it not I, the Lord?

Like, go and do what I'm calling you to do,

and I will be with your mouth,

and I will teach you what you shall speak.
