Hello boys and girls, this is Uncle Chris.

I'm going to be your podcast for this afternoon, this morning, this evening or tonight or today.

And the guest this week is Janna Van Gogh-Lova, who was from Macedonia originally, came to

the US.

I think she said in high school maybe, or maybe for university, has a PhD in psychology

from the great Cornell University and upstate New York.

I've spent many happy times at Cornell.

When I was at Hobart as an undergrad, my best friend went to Cornell.

I used to hitchhike down there all the time, lived in Truman's Berg for a while, which

is sort of halfway between Geneva and Ithaca.

If you know the finger lakes, you know what I'm talking about.

There was a restaurant called the Rung Govian Embassy.

I used to wander into coming down from LSD trips that I was on in that area sometimes.

Yeah, lots of good memories, some beautiful parks around there, gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.

Yeah, anyway, so Janna is a fascinating person.

She focused, I guess, her research dissertation and a lot of what she's doing now, where she

teaches at NYU in New York is focused on how people experience casual sex.

So the question of how casual sex fits into our nature as a species and to our psychological

repertoire as individuals in the modern world, into relationships and so on and so forth.
