Good afternoon, fellow Bible buffs, and welcome as always to the Fruits of Faith calling show with Pastor Clyde Sunbeam.

Whether you're joyful for Jesus or just Gaga for God, we've got a little fun for

every member of the flock. We're going to take some calls in just a minute here, but first, I'd like to

reflect on the faith and family Bible verses of the day. First up, family. Today's verse is from

Numbers 321. The Bible says,

Of Gersian came the family of the Libnites and the family of the Shemites. These are the families

of the Gershonites. Now, what did Jesus and his pals mean when they wrote that? Basically,

they thought that family is important. It's so

important that even the Gershonites were doing it, and that was a very long time ago. Way before

Katie Perry, Taylor Swift, and all of the fads that we see come and go nowadays. But what does the

Bible say about faith?

Well, Job 31 had something pretty interesting to say.

It says, one, Job recideth the innocence of his living and number of his virtues,

which declares what ought to be the life of the faithful.

I made a covenant with mine eyes. Why then should I think

on a maid? Indeed, why then should he think on a maid? If he has his faith, he has no need for

something earthly, like a maid. He can focus on something more heavenly, like a wife. But enough about

old Job's problems. Let's see what's going on with
