I've been getting some match-up related questions lately.

And I don't mean simple start-sit ones.

I mean higher level ones.

Like talking about when you bench your studs.

I'm actually going to get into that one or a similar one to it in just a second.

But I've had a few people hit me up about some of my buy-and-sell recommendations on

the 15 transaction show because those recommendations sometimes seem to ignore an upcoming match-up.

A perfect example of what I'm talking about is Todd Gurley this week.

He was a sell candidate for all the reasons that I talked about on Tuesday's show, but of

course Gurley gets the Cincinnati defense this week.

So selling him before that match-up seems kind of stupid.

Now I don't disagree with the overall idea here.

For those of you who want to wait, like I said on the show, feel free to wait.

But I tend to go with a more conservative approach because we often think we know more

about the future than we actually know.

For instance, and again I like Todd Gurley this week and I think that he's a good play.

But for instance, what happens if Gurley doesn't perform well this week?

Because not as though players in good match-ups never disappoint.
