Northumbria was always the hot mess of the Heptarki.

I mean, there were a few exceptions where they managed to pull it together long enough

to produce something important, like bead, or when Leeds United won the premiereship in

91.

But generally, it's a bit of a sh** show, sort of like Leeds United.

And the main struggle of that region is that honestly, there have just been too many

cooks in the kitchen.

The kingdoms of the Heptarki were no straggers to the problems that can come from having

multiple dynasties vying for the throne.

But Northumbria took that problem and really perfected it.

No one could do inter-nice sign conflict, quite like the North.
