Hello welcome to yet another episode of On the Edge with Andrew Gold.

I'm your host Andrew Gold and today I've got Chris Maylin on a former UK Scientologist. He was an auditor which is basically like a therapist in

Scientology where people have to come in and tell you everything in that sense

it's not really like a therapist because a therapist doesn't force you to tell them everything.

But Chris actually suffered from what sounds a bit like PTSD or something like this, from

listening to some of the most horrific abuses that you can

imagine because people would just come in there brazenly and tell him that they

were doing this or that with their children.

They were filming child sexual abuse material around the UK

and Chris was then left in this dilemma of you know do I speak about it

do I report this because you're not allowed to report anything to the police and

this sort of thing goes on in cults it goes on in

Scientology because nobody within seems to care. Now we did this as you guys know and it's probably has been a bit frustrating for you guys listening on the audio podcast

I've often had to be a bit careful with my language because it also goes out on YouTube and we try to sort of make the two versions a little bit different

but sometimes it's just unavoidable and I can't speak like a proper human being.

So what we did was we did the first 40 minutes of this live streaming on

YouTube had a few questions from the audience there and then we went to my new
