Summary
Jamie wasn't in love with her husband anymore. After 23 years of marriage, she felt trapped by what seemed like a life sentence—divorce wasn't an option, but staying was making her miserable. Then everything exploded during a walk when her husband said something that shocked her into making a decision. Jamie finally got off the fence, but choosing her marriage was just the beginning. She had to learn how to win back a husband who was trying to protect his own heart.
Today, Jamie describes her husband as the wind beneath her wings and says her marriage is "happy, connected, easy and fun". She credits her husband for supporting her through the hardest season of her career to win Australian Midwife of the Year, complete with fireworks shooting from the stage. Discover how Jamie went from wanting to leave to thriving as a team—and how you can too.
