This week we're sharing our favorite date night ideas, including date nights at home,

and a listener topic about the trend of romanticizing absolutely everything. Love it. Yeah, this will be fun. Okay. So we are

talking about date nights. So we both have kids. We both have young kids. We both don't have, I mean,

I don't have a babysitter every weekend. So we make it work. And so we're going to talk about date nights out and then we'll talk

about staying in just like the best way to make it feel a little bit, not like a usual night.

Yeah, I love these topics. And I'm going to share my popcorn recipe for anyone who hasn't heard it.

It's actually very, very good. So take note. It's up there. Don't sleep on this. Yeah, don't. Okay. So for a date night's out, these are a few of my top things. So one is I love going two places. I think it's such a special touch to go to like a bar or an appetizer or I don't know like just like a little

pre you know before your reservation especially if you have like a late reservation because I

have just like I'm trained to eat early and so if our reservation is any time after seven

especially like eight like that is so

late to me. And I would definitely want to go somewhere beforehand if I had the chance just to like

start the evening earlier. And then my second one is I love a movie. So we have a movie place that serves food, which is really nice because it is a date night. Although I personally don't think their food is that good. I disagree. I love their food. Yeah, we really verge on this one. We do. I honestly would, if they were just on Uber Eats, I would order the food from there to come to my house.

What?

I think it's very good. No. For like a fast casual. Okay. You know, like it's not sushi. It's not like a fancy sushi dinner. Tell them all the stuff you ordered when we went to see the housemaid because this was a hilarious order. Did I order when I went to say? I remember. It was like nachos and then it was like a frozen margarita has to be frozen.

Chips and queso. Here's the, okay, here's the thing with the frozen margarita, though. Bring your own straw because I can't do a paper straw in a frozen drink because it disintegrates. Yeah. I understand why we're doing paper straws. I'm for that.

Just bring your own metal, glass, whatever straw you use.

I think they have a new kind of biodegradable straw now that is like better.

I have like stainless steel straws that I use at home and you have to clean them and

something, you know, but like just bring one in your purse because I feel like then get

rid of that straw.
