The The The I'm going to be. The thing. Welcome to Adventure Land. As you've already noticed, the atmosphere here is quite a bit different

from the land you've just left. Main Street's Victorian-style buildings have

given way to lush jungle greenery and thatched roofed huts of varying shapes and sizes

and the clip-clop of horses hooves have given way to the rhythmic beats of jungle drums.

One of Disneyland's most popular lands, Adventure Land is the home of a variety of exciting shops

and restaurants, all boasting an Asian, African, or South Pacific theme.

Listry. I'm Matt Parish. And I'm Kevin Quigley. I'm at Parish fresh from a nap.

I was like, hey Matt, let's record and you're like, what? I'm asleep. I fell asleep after work. So, you know, it's funny, I was sleeping. every time I nap I have these weird dreams

but when I woke up I had this weird feeling like we hadn't recorded a Disney

history show in a really long time Matt it's because we haven't. Why haven't we?

Well, we did the Tiki show.

That was sort of Disney history, but we haven't done a history on like a specific topic in a while.

Like an Adventure Land 1.0. I think that was sort of the last one that we did we did an adventure land one what is that the last thing no no we did pleasure island didn't we?

Yeah that's right Mary Weather Adam we're contractually obligated to say his name every episode.

Kevin, you know it's funny you always say we never talk about Magic Kingdom even though we talked

about it a ton on the Go Up show.
