I'm Almost 20 years ago, I was about six months into living with my first serious boyfriend when I suggested that we adopt a puppy.

I'd always wanted a dog, but I also knew it would be a great chance to see how ready for parenthood my boyfriend was. And so we adopted Oscar, a Jack Russell puppy, and after we both

fell in love with him down at the pound. From the moment we got him home, he became our very own tiny bundle of energy and mischief.
