and Doug Peterson was asked his first question about job security, and it was a fair one.

Yeah, Dave, if you had told me three months ago that we'd be sitting here on December 1st talking about Doug Peterson getting fired.

You know, there's so much optimism in training camp in the preseason.

You know, I would have thought you were nuts.

How do we get here?

on the transactional front, but first I think we have to start with Doug Peterson. Now he was first asked on Monday or on Tuesday rather if he had been given any assurances about finishing out the season he said no one way or the other I mean I I

anticipate that even if there's a move he'll get to finish out the season.

But after that who knows and he's I mean he said all the right things he's focused on

what he can control and that's the way he has to go about it but I mean he knows the situation he's been around this league long enough to know that when a team performs like this the first target is on the head coach.

Yeah and I think it's safe to it's safe to say his coach in his first job.

I'd be surprised if he's not. I think Jeff Lori wants to see how he handles the situation.

And you know, every year that this team has struggled early, they've, you know, Doug's found a way

to get them to bounce back.

I certainly don't see that on the horizon,

but they're allowed to go win a few games at some point so we'll see what happens it's
