Hello, you are listening to Sigma Nutrition Radio. This is episode 301, and as always, I am your host,

0:08.5

Danny Lennon. And one conversation I've often had with friends, and many other people have talked

0:15.5

about a similar concept publicly as well, and perhaps it's something you've often thought about and talked about with

0:21.8

other people, is this general idea of tribalism within nutrition. Now, we can use different

0:29.7

words as opposed to tribalism, whether we're talking about tribes, we could be talking about

0:34.7

nutritional groups, we could talk about different camps.

1:23.4

how do we navigate through this world of trying to find useful and objectively true information

1:30.1

about nutrition whilst also accepting that there are going to be competing ideologies?

1:36.5

There's going to be inherent bias that every one of us is going to experience.

1:41.9

And there is going to be this kind of fractal nature of different competing groups

1:47.7

or tribes. To try and work through some of these ideas, I discussed this concept with Dr. John

1:54.6

Berardi, who is probably best known as the co-founder of precision nutrition, and he's also the founder of the ChangeMaker Academy, which is a new project devoted to helping

2:07.3

people attempt to turn their passion for health and fitness into a successful career.

2:12.8

And in fact, that area is something I've talked about with John, which we will cover on a future podcast episode,
