Welcome to a new season of the Bruce Lee podcast.

We are kicking off this season in the month of May,

so I'm gonna be focusing on AAPI guests all month

to begin with.

We used to have a segment on the show called AHA,

where we introduced the audience to an awesome Asian

or HAPPA out there in the world doing good work.

So now instead of just talking about some awesome Asians,

I'm gonna be talking with them instead,

so you can get to know and love them as I do.

Especially with the rise in Asian hate crimes,

I wanted to take time to share with you the depth

and humanity of these amazing people.

So you can truly see that, as my father said,

under the sky, we are all one family.

So my first guest is someone who is an amazingly talented

and hardworking individual who I am so grateful

to call my colleague, my mentor, and my friend.

You may know him as the mega director of such films

as The Fast and the Furious franchise,

Star Trek Beyond, and Better Luck Tomorrow.
