Hello, Paul, I'm Chris Hewitt and welcome! Welcome to the Empire Podcast! This is somehow, I don't even know how, the 300th episode of the Empire Podcast,

if you don't count the sporters' specials and the interview specials and all the other specials that we've done, this is a 300th regular edition,

300 episodes, that's almost as many episodes as there are movies in the Marvel Cinematic Universe,

and over the next couple of hours or so we'll be doing what we do best, we'll be reviewing the week's big movies,

we'll be answering your questions to the best of our ability and believe me that's a very important disclaimer to the best of our ability,

we'll be discussing the week's big movie news.

I will be honest, we did one Jerry Butler to be on this podcast to just walk on and go,

let's, as, empire! But when he found out that we have a 4.5 rating on the Apple Store's podcast page,

he thought, no, that's too crudingly clean for me, I can't, I can't be a part of that, it's not in my DNA,

so sadly we don't have any Jerry Butler with you, but it's a bit of a shame,

but we do have some cracking guests that you don't know who they are, right?

Because we haven't recorded this bit after the guests have been on, so that's good,

so there's some surprises coming your way, which is lovely, and you're gonna have the guests,

whenever you get tired of four giggling idiots up here in the stage,

speaking of which, it is time to meet tonight's three colleagues of such lethal cunning,

who just like you guys have given up their time on the most romantic night of the year,

Simon Pegs birthday, what a time to be alive, I don't know about you, but when I get home,

I'm gonna show my wife some hot fuzz.
