Welcome to the Huntback Country podcast.

This is episode number 300 in the beginning of Elk Week 2021.

We did an Elk Week series a couple of years ago and had the idea to do it again,

but this time we decided to mix it up and actually fly out and

record with our good friends from born and raised outdoors. So Steve and I went out and hung

out with Cody and Trent and recorded episodes live, which were not only recorded for this

podcast series, but we'll be coming to video later, which we'll talk about later. But today, this is just the first

segment of daily episodes coming out this week. So there's going to be five components to Elk

week this week. In the first four episodes, we tackle a specific topic or question and chat through that.

And then in the fifth and final segment,

it's more of a rapid fire Q&A.

All these questions and the topics,

even the first four in the series, came from you guys.

And we thought about the questions we received most often

and try to put them into topics and categories and discuss.

And so that's what we're doing today.

And for the next few days before we dive in and wrap things up with that rapid fire Q&A.

But there's much more to come than just these podcasts. Next week, the video will launch with

Born and Raised Outdoors. And it's the same conversation that we've had here on the podcast. You get to

watch it, not just hear the audio, but it's not just seeing our ugly faces. There's going to be some

supplemental video footage that kind of highlight and show what we talk about in these podcast episodes.
