The final Tuesday night podcast of the

2023 season. Not ever, just of this season. Fred and I need a break. We're going to get it. But we love doing this. And we might even squeeze in a couple of extra offseason ones. Who knows? But for now, let's talk about what's going on. Fred, first of all, how are you doing tonight? Well, I'm a little disappointed since Jordan Romano ruined the Blue Jays game, but other than that, I'm great.

Not again. He seems like he's doing that more lately. Yep, he's picking the wrong time of the year to have a slump for sure.

He's almost like directly cost them two games here in the last few days. So, you know, I mean, tonight they may not have won anyways. They didn't score any runs. That usually gives you a pretty low chance of winning. So yeah. At home, no less against Johnny Brito. Well, like no other than friends. But, but King walk five, but King walk five batters and they couldn't capitalize.

So, yeah.

So, I mean, I'm not totally blaming Romano.

He was just the last nail on the cuff.

And the fact they didn't score any runs in nine innings is really the main reason that they didn't win tonight.

So anyways.

The main reason why they're in this point, like not having salted away the division or the division or let alone a wild card spot

by this point already i mean maybe not division but they're hell they're 87 and 70

but if they if they hit like we expected them to hit they would be like a 95 win team easily

and they'd be right there in the thick of the a least race yeah for sure so at this point i just hoping they get in. I don't care if they play the raise. I think that's fine. The race have lost a lot of pitching. Now they've lost Brandon Lau. So, you know, I mean, they're not 100%. They've always done well against the Blue Jays, but whatever. I'll take my shot at the race. That's fine. Yeah, for sure. I don't know if Ray's versus taking a shot at the twins

And the good news for them is, you know, Texas and Seattle play each other over the weekend. You're hoping that Texas still has the division to win. So they have something to play for. That might be the thing. I mean, they're losing the night. So let's set the table here.
