Thought I would continue for a week or two talking more about little kids and

mother's duties. Today I'm going to talk about love and of course that's a big

topic and there's plenty of material to cover with that.

But the kind of love that First Corinthians talks about that applies to every kind of loving of course that there is and you may know this passage by

heart but we're just going to take versus four and five today and apply them to

mothering the little and the not so little people in your home. The King James Version says in verse 4,

Charity suffereth long and is kind, charity invietth not, charity vanteth not, is not puffed up.

The new King James says love suffers long and is kind.

Love does not envy.

Love does not parade itself is not puffed up. And so I like to just look at both of those. It just gives us more to think about.

So let's start with love suffers long and is kind. First off, we have to realize that as

mothers, as Christian people, actually, we need supernatural love for everyone but in talking

about our children we have a lot of natural love for our own children but it's not

enough ladies we need supernatural love for our children we may have

you know tons of love and affection for her children but natural love can grow weary and

it suffereth for a very short time before it geteth annoyeth.

I don't think annoyeth is a word before it geteth annoyed.

So the only person who has ever loved perfectly is Jesus and this

passage is describing his kind of love is describing him but we are in him and

by his grace we can love more and more like he does.
