Monica Moynin, who was lovingly known as Monty, was the kind of girl that everyone loved.

She could identify with anyone.

She was an old soul and was indiscriminately empathetic.

She was the kind of person you could talk to about anything and she would feel your feelings right along with you.

And when you met her, you felt like you had known her all of your life.

She'd always been an independent thinker, had strong opinions and stood up for what she thought was right.

And as strong as she was, like many unbreakable women do, she fell victim to domestic abuse.
