Join Bryan Dean Wright, former CIA Operations Officer, as he breaks down today’s biggest stories shaping America and the world.

Trump’s 100-Day Diplomacy: Wins and Setbacks Abroad – Trump scores victories as Mexico agrees to water deliveries, India ramps up U.S. oil purchases, and Egypt faces pressure to grant free U.S. access to the Suez Canal. But his strategy falters in Ukraine and Canada, with Putin walking away from negotiations and Canada electing a leftist government amid anti-Trump backlash.

Can Trump Eliminate Income Tax? The Math Doesn’t Work – The White House floats ending income taxes for Americans earning under $200K, funded by tariffs. But with federal spending at $18B/day and tariff revenue projected at $3B/day, the math—and the politics—don’t support it without massive cuts.

Supply Chain Reality: Mixed Signals from the Economy – Treasury says U.S. shelves are stocked and supply chains are realigning, but UPS layoffs and shrinking West Coast port traffic hint at deeper disruptions ahead.

“Take Back Your Health” Campaign Launches Nationwide – HHS Secretary RFK Jr. leads a new effort to combat obesity, encourage fitness, and educate Americans on better food choices. The military obesity crisis adds urgency to the movement.

Medical Breakthroughs on Gut Health – New research shows gut bacteria transplants can dramatically reduce fibromyalgia symptoms, and coffee (not caffeine) boosts resilience and gut health. Bryan toasts the news with his favorite brew, Wacker Coffee.

It's April 30th. I'm Brian Dean Wright, former CIA operations officer, and this is The Wright Report.

0:12.3

A good day to you, ladies and gentlemen, welcome to The Right Report, Your Daily News, podcast.

0:22.6

I've got four briefs for you this morning that are shaping America and the world.

0:27.8

First up, President Trump's first 100 days in office continue to reverberate around the world.

0:33.0

I'll cover three relatively good pieces of news from Egypt, Mexico, and India about that. Plus,

0:38.8

some not so good news from Russia and Canada. Oh, boy, that's coming up. Second, we will cover

0:45.2

domestic updates regarding Mr. Trump's first 100 days in office, including a White House promise

0:50.9

to eliminate your income tax. It's a great idea, but the math is a little shaky.

0:57.0

Third, you can expect to see some new messages on your TVs and in your emails from Bobby Kennedy,

1:02.1

Jr. And here it is, take back your health. That is the name of a new ad campaign, and it starts

1:07.8

soon. Finally, we will cover some good medical news this morning with

1:11.7

research that involves the gut. One is some great news for fibromyalgia patients. The other is

1:17.6

for those of us who like to drink coffee. That would be me. Well, before we get to that,

1:22.2

let's get to our top stories of the morning. We are at day 100 and one of the Trump presidency with a new push by the White

1:29.0

House to showcase their progress. The president did that yesterday in Michigan, along with a

1:33.9

very interesting interview on ABC News last night. We'll come back to Mr. Trump's claims of domestic

1:40.1

progress and promises that he made yesterday in just a second. But first, let's talk about news

1:46.3

from abroad regarding the president's first 101 days in office. And we are going to start with

1:51.9

some arguably good news from abroad. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that President Trump

1:56.7

is pressing the Egyptian government this morning to let all U.S. ships that are transiting the Suez Canal to do that for free.

2:04.1

This comes days after President Trump said that U.S. ships should get that same free treatment that go through the Panama Canal.

2:10.8

Trump said that the Suez should be in play as well because the U.S. government has spent about a billion dollars since he took office defending that canal and the Red Sea from the Houthi attacks.
