Jeremy Scott Fitness will pop right up. The free gift is for you. So without further ado, three ways to make cardio unsuck is our topic for the day. And a lot of you guys have heard me say this before and I hold this belief near and dear to my heart. I do think cardio sucks. I really do. I don't think anybody who really

crushes it or gets into some what I like to say deep waters enjoys it because you start to

0:48.8

slowly hate every piece of machine and tool in the gym. In the traditional kind of old school walking or running on the hamster wheel, treadmill type stuff, yeah, cardio does suck.

1:00.9

It's boring.

1:01.4

It's tedious.

1:02.0

It lacks excitement.

1:03.8

And it lacks a lot of things like a traditional what I think training sessions should bring.

1:08.2

I know I personally hate jumping on a treadmill to get my training done. I

1:12.6

will never get an elliptical. I'd rather swallow wet gravel than do that. It just seems miserable to me.

1:18.6

I even went as far as to say, you know, one minute of cardio kind of feels like 30 real minutes,

1:25.3

which is not, you know, a recipe for fitness success if you have that

1:28.9

mindset. So I'm here to kind of open your guys' minds up in imagination to some kind of quick,

1:34.0

easy, fun, efficient ways to make cardio hopefully unsuck forever so you can take your aerobic

training from boring to badass kind of with these three simple tips. So number one, I think you guys got to play. And I mean play all out. And we do this a lot with our adults here. We integrate into our workouts, into our training. We could do it even more. It's just getting people to buy into it. But when we do it, oftentimes these guys here don't even realize it. There are so many layers involved in this because adults don't play enough. They really don't. We used to do it as kids and we get lost in fitness for hours. We wouldn't even realize it went by, but as adults, we think of it as just exercise-based. So one way I think you can increase happiness in your life while getting your cardio done at the same time is to play. It can be anything, you guys. It doesn't got to be super,

2:21.3

you know, tactical. It can be basketball, volleyball, tennis, things like soccer,

2:26.9

Frisbee golf, fucking Zumba, kickball, even freeze tag. If you can get some adults like really buy into it. I mean, how awesome was freeze tag as a kid? Love that stuff. My point is,

2:31.6

moving forward with your friends and social settings, it allows you guys to

2:35.6

have a release from your normal stresses of life, but you're getting lean and burning fat at the

2:41.1

same time. There's so many leagues and organizations in every city and programs like this

2:45.6

that are looking for people to join. I can't tell you how many times I meant Eric Torvey has

2:49.9

came in here and be like, hey, man, do you want to join our soccer league? No, A, I'm a rather large human, so I don't think me running around the soccer field running into people is a great idea. But the point being is this, if I wasn't, you know, into abuse on the assault bike and sled and rowers and skis and things like that. I definitely would do it. So I think if you guys do get lost in play, it can be a great way to, A, get fit, be part of a community, and have fun at the same time. I mean, even for me, if I could find a league of dudes who would play basketball, like what I don't consider the right way and not, you know, follow and try to take my head off, I would do it because I used to play basketball for 22, 23 years of my life,
