It is Wednesday, September the 11th, we remember.

We, we, I should also mention too, you know, there's a story today in the New York Post.

Nearly 17,000 first responders are suffering cancers and diseases linked to 9-11 over two decades later.

I heard a very very sad statistic today that we've lost more first responders from 9-11

related illnesses than we lost on 9-11. So you know my dad is one of those people

with the 9-11 illnesses and he lost a friend just yesterday as a matter of fact.

So they are definitely suffering and that's a lot due because Christie Todd Wittless told everybody the air was fine over Ground Zero, not that if they said the air was dirty, those heroes would have done anything less than they did.

Truly amazing, truly inspirational, just the heroism, the self-sacrifice that these men and women did

on that day and the days after and the months after too as a recovery effort at Ground Zero went on because

you know there's 9-11 and then there were the months after 9-11 and then of course the years after 9-11

where you have the first responders dealing with all kinds of still catastrophic illnesses.

And then we have an entire generation that was not even born there

that, born on 9-11.

They're now, you know, in their teens and their 20s and they're learning about it and hopefully today the schools

are doing a good job of of explaining it and teaching it. I don't know. I'm curious when my

kids get home from school today. Well my son's in fourth grade, Patrick's in

fourth grade. I wonder what, if anything, if they taught him about today I'd like to

know so I'll find out when he gets home from school and I'm off the air.

Debate night in America last night so I have lots of thoughts but mostly I want to know what you think. I

really do on a day like today I'm very interested in hearing what you have to say.
