Now, first of all, a general note on wooden raised beds. They're generally cost effective

and they're pretty easy to install provided you have basic construction skills and I'm talking bare bones basic for some of the easiest designs.

What are the cons? Well, wood won't last forever. It's an organic material. It will rot and

It will also start to fade and so if you want it to look good until it starts to rot,
