One of the coolest plants to grow as far as berries go and also the easiest in my

0:18.7

humble opinion would be strawberries. It's a decent time to plant them in some areas of America right now, but in general,

0:28.2

this is a little quick guide on the different types of strawberries. I may have talked about this in the past,

0:34.4

but I think even for my own self-education,

0:37.0

it's good to go over it again,

0:38.9

because despite being relatively simple to grow,

it can be somewhat confusing to understand and

1:39.5

productive harvest in one period of year and then perhaps you're going to freeze or preserve them in some way so that you get them throughout the year.

1:47.0

Then June bearing could be a great variety or style for you.

1:51.5

Next you have what's called everbearing. They aren't truly

1:55.2

everbearing as in they produce every single week of the year. They'll produce

1:59.8

roughly two harvests per year. One will be in the spring and another will be in the late summer or the fall.

2:06.0

Sometimes you can get three harvests, but you need absolutely perfect strawberry conditions to do that.

With everbearing varieties,
