Three things. All right. So we touched on it first thing this morning. But for those I haven't heard,

Pope Francis has passed away. He passed. He died at his residence at in the Vatican's Casa Santa Maria.

He was 88 years old.

He died a month after that he was discharged from the hospital where he was treated for double pneumonia.

Following a 38 day stay, Francis suffered the chronic lung disease and had part of his lung removed when he was young.

I didn't know that.

Oh, wow.

He was elected Pope in March of 2013 following the surprise resignation of Pope Benedict.

And a day before his death on Easter Sunday, which Easter Sunday, I feel like that's weirdly poetic.
