why don't we catch you up with three things you need to know this morning

before you get to wherever you're going. Yeah, so earlier in the show we were talking about why we crave certain things when we're on an airplane.

Yeah, we kind of touched on it a little bit ahead.

Yeah, Kelly was asking about, or if it had to do with altitude and I said that I for some reason I

always crave tomato juice when I'm on a plane and I have never looked up why so I

went ahead and looked it up. So the cabin pressure is low when you're flying at an altitude and your blood gets less oxygen as a result which means some of your receptors change so your sense of smell and taste and things like that just change a little bit.

So your sense of smell plays a big

part and your taste and your taste is weakened. So on an airplane normal food will

just taste a little bit more bland than usual so that's why a lot of people ask for tomato juice because it just has more

flavor.

So the airport, the airplane food doesn't really suck?

I guess it's just the altitude.

That's what they're saying.

It's not because the altitude, sir.

Yeah, because whenever I go like to Colorado,

their alcohol level is like lower because you get drunk or faster.

Because of the altitude.

Oh, yeah.

And you can get altitude sickness. You can get altitude sickness.
