Well, hello there. My name is Morgan Harper-Nichols. I'm an artist and a writer, and this is a space

where I share poetry and prose and thoughts that I hope can make a little room for you to slow down

and take a few deep breaths as you prepare for whatever lies ahead. Today's episode is called

three reminders about success that are too easy to forget. If you look up the word success on

Google Trends, which is a site that allows you to see the patterns of a trending search term over a period of time on Google, you'll see that the word success has actually been on a slight decline over the past five years. Now, I am certainly not a data analyst and I don't know much about

statistics and how to look at that in a holistic way. But as I look at this in a broad, generic

sense, I can't help but wonder if people searching less for the word success could mean that people are starting to

redefine success. We're starting to broaden our perspective on what does it mean to live a successful

life? And as a result of that, maybe that word actually shows up less. Again, this is all just

guessing, me just wondering and sharing it with you. However, if you happen to connect with this idea,

that it's possible, it's possible that as a collective, we might be starting to think about what it means to be successful in life.
