Sometimes a good deal is just not a good deal. When you go to the furniture store that's having their 18th going out of business sale of the year, or when you go to a car dealership who's having their yearly, you know, Christmas sale when they pump down the prices to where they should be normally, or whatever else, you know, or the ADP of a guy who

finishes the RB12 last year because he fell into the end zone 18 times, now being drafted

as the RB14, and, you know, maybe it's still not a good deal, even though it kind of seems like one.

And that's why I'm here to say what the fuck is up with these deals.

And my last video talked about some of these underpriced running backs going for less in ADP right now than where they finished last season.

But today I'm here to talk about some of those same guys, but who I'm still fading despite the discounted prices.

Let's do it.

The easiest thing you can do in fantasy football is fade the guy who scored an unsustainable amount of touchdowns

last season. And that's why the first guy I wanted to talk about is James Connor, who last year

finishes the RB8 in PPR points per game and is now being drafted as the RB 14 by ADP.

We can take a little bit further look into this unsustainable touchdown scoring from James

Connor last season.

League-wide in the NFL last year, running back scored touchdowns on 3.2% of their

carries.

Throughout his career, prior to last season, James Connor scored a touchdown on 4.1% of his carries.

So overall, you know, he's a Pro Bowl guy.

He's an above average running back.

And, you know, accordingly, he's scoring touchdowns at a slightly above average rate.

He's a good player.

Last year, in 2021, James Connor scored a touchdown on 7.4% of his carries.

That's like if you took his career touchdown rate and the NFL average touchdown rate and added them together, that's how often, you know, James Connor was scoring touchdowns last year.
