Former President Donald Trump railed against his guilty verdict in the criminal hush money trial in New York.

On Thursday, a jury convicted him of 34 counts of falsifying business records.

As part of a scheme to cover up a hush money payment to adult film star Stormy Daniels

before the 2016 election.

You know it's only a misdemeanor but to me it sounds so bad when they say falsifying business

that's a bad thing for me I've never had that before.

The case hinged on how the reimbursement

for the payment was documented and whether it was part of an effort to help Trump's

election bid. Trump who vowed to appeal the verdict, attacked the judge and

insisted the trial was quote very unfair during a the Michael Cohen without using his name, calling him a quote, sleaze bag.

In his first public remarks since Trump's conviction, President Joe Biden said the verdict

shows, quote, no one is above the law.
