Vice President Kamala Harris's team is rejecting a notion from a senior Israeli

official about her public remarks

Thursday after meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.

Harris criticized Israel's conduct in its war with Hamas, which according to Israeli media, the official

called counter-productive and may put efforts to reach a ceasefire deal at risk, and that the pressure

on Israel has been one-sided.
