President Joe Biden is hoping to turn his re-election bit around

after his performance during CNN's debate last week.

He privately acknowledged to an ally that the coming days are crucial to deciding if he stays in the race.

what circumstances would prompt him to basically accept it's just not working.

are going badly he's not oblivious. The Biden campaign aid denied the New York Times

reporting that he's considering withdrawing his candidacy if he doesn't perform

well in public events over the next several days. The president is expected to meet

with more than 20 Democratic governors later today to discuss their concerns.
