President Joe Biden says the deadly incident at a food distribution site in Gaza this morning will complicate efforts for a ceasefire, but

has added additional urgency to talks.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health says Israel's military opened fire on Palestinian civilians waiting at A-Trucks for food.

That caused chaos as the A-Trucks tried to escape Israeli fire, and at least 104 people

were killed and more than 700 were injured, the health ministry said.

But Israel's military claims two separate A- Truck incidents occurred.

In a briefing, an Israeli military spokesperson said thousands of people surrounded and rushed a convoy of

a truck entering into North Gaza. The spokesperson claimed that subsequently a

group of Palestinians approached a nearby Israeli position and that soldiers fired warning shots and then fired towards those who quote a what eyewitnesses have told CNN. And the incident comes as the UN-A chief warns that life is, quote,

draining out of Gaza at terrifying speed,

as more than 30,000 people have been killed since the beginning of the war,

according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.

The House passed a measure that would avert a partial government shutdown for another week.
