Summary

As the Book of Mormon peoples experienced the signs of the Savior's death, including days of darkness, they heard, amidst all the commotion, a voice inviting them to repent and return to the Lord. As they opened their ears and looked towards the voice they understood the voice and met Jesus Christ Himself. With all of the commotion going on in our world today it might be more important (and maybe more difficult) to hear Him than ever before. But if we did, what would we hear? What would we see?  Show Notes: Russell M. Nelson, "Hear Him," April 2020. See the apostles share how they #HearHim on the Church's YouTube Page. 0:17.5

and connect to God in your everyday life. We are your host, Krista and Zach Horton,

0:31.5

is the climax of the book of Mormon. If there ever, yeah, if there ever was one, this is it.

0:38.0

And we're excited to be here today. It's my favorite chapter. 13-N-5-11 is my favorite chapter

0:43.8

in the book of Mormon. So we really are excited to dive in. So you would always say it's the

0:48.1

climax because it's your favorite. Yep. I like it too. Before we dive in though, we do something in our family every, oh, almost every night.

0:58.5

Around the dinner table, everyone gets to share a high and a low from the day.

1:03.5

And so we go around the table, everyone shares their low, and then they're high, and they get

1:07.4

bugged when they still each other's highs, and our three-year-old doesn't know what a high

1:10.8

or a low is, so she just names random things, and the kids all tell her like no that's not a high

1:15.4

that's not a low that's kind of cute about a three-year-old to think because hers are always just

1:19.3

things that she likes what was your high i wear a dress today what was your low i wore another

1:25.8

dress today which is also true because she wears like 10 dresses every day.

1:30.1

So we realized podcasting friends that we're all family.

1:34.3

And so we'd like to share highs and lows with you at the beginning of our episodes.

1:38.8

So this week we're going to start with a high.

1:42.7

And it comes from both of us. In the last 24 hours, we're going to start with a high. And it comes from both of us.

1:44.9

In the last 24 hours, we have both made a trip to the world's best grocery store,

1:53.1

which is Aldi.

1:55.9

That's a big statement, Zach.
